Sensory processing is a term that refers to the way the nervous system receives messages from the senses and turns them into appropriate motor and behavioral responses.
Sensory Processing Disorder is a condition that exists when sensory signals don’t get organized into appropriate responses. - SPD Foundation
Our mission with the Sensory Store is to educate individuals and offer sensory tools that are affordable for families to have in their own home.
The Sensory Store provides tools that many parents are recommended to order online from their OT's and educators. The store is stocked full of tools for fine motor, attention span, oral fixations, taxtile stimulation and more. Tools include items such as weighted/pressure vests, fidgets, wiggle seats, chewies and our famous Sensory Balls.
