Hannah has a neurological disorder called Rett Syndrome, and has been an AMA student for four years. The disorder has a range of neuropsychiatric abnormalities including motor dysfunctions and mild to severe cognitive impairment.
When Hannah first started AMA she was unable to use her hands independently. "Hannah has grown & blossomed in the years she has been with AMA. Her confidence, as well as her hand strength, has grown significantly!" -Karen (Mom). In this video you can see Hannah practicing her right to left brain synchronization, processing and fine motor skills. During a typical session she can also be found practicing her organization, life skills and IEP goals! |
